Darkness RISING: Live is our annual music and mental health event featuring the Black Broadway community performing inspirational songs for Black mental health, and Black mental health providers as our guest speakers. The concert benefits Darkness RISING Project Nonprofit, a 501(c)3 organization that provides direct mental health resources to the Black community.
DR Live NYC is sponsored by the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund. DR Live: 7 NC was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. The NC and NYC Block Party Tour is coming to your city!
Join us for a FREE block party including food, live music, wellness vendors, Black mental health providers, resources, and more! This is event is open to the public and all communities are welcome.
